Preview now mirrors the exact live experience
Study Preview now runs on the exact same participant experience used for live sessions, giving researchers a far more accurate way to review and validate a study before it actually launches. This means Preview now reflects study flow and branching, piping and randomisation, timers, media and stimulus experiences, prototype and task experiences, and study logic and conditions, all exactly as a real participant would encounter them.
Preview sessions remain completely separate from live sessions, so nothing done in Preview affects a study's actual results or reporting. Decode also now identifies any unready blocks before the preview starts, so researchers know upfront which parts of the study still need attention rather than finding out partway through a preview run. Overall, this gives researchers a much closer representation of the real participant experience, letting them validate study flow with more confidence before launch, and across a wider range of block types and scenarios than Preview could handle before.
