AI Moderator suggests and adapts meeting length
AI Moderator now manages interview pacing during live sessions and automatically recommends a meeting duration based on the structure and depth of a project's discussion guide. While setting up an AI Moderator project, Decode now suggests an ideal meeting duration based on the number and complexity of objectives added to the guide. This recommendation updates automatically as objectives are added, removed, or edited, though researchers can still adjust the duration manually if they choose to.
During live interviews, the AI Moderator also adjusts pacing in real time. If participants spend longer than expected on certain topics, the moderator adjusts the conversation to still cover the remaining objectives. When the planned duration is reached, the session moves toward a natural close instead of ending abruptly. Interview timing tends to vary depending on how deep a topic goes and how engaged a participant is, so having an automatic duration recommendation and real-time pacing helps researchers plan more accurately, cover what they need to, and keep the conversation feeling natural throughout.
