What is a Dyad Meeting?
Dyad Meetings are generally conducted by a moderator with 2 participants. The participants will either come as a pair who know each other, or strangers who have never met. This will depend on the type of study the researcher is conducting and the outcome desired.
You would want to conduct a dyad interview with a pair who know each other, when you want them to have a similar opinion.
Example - two employees who work together, parent and child, siblings, etc.
On the other hand - you would want to conduct dyad interviews with two strangers when you want them to have a conflicting opinion.
Example - lapsers and frequent consumers, politicians, and consumers who are loyalists of competing brands.

How to Use Decode's Dyad Meeting Template?
Step 1 - Log in to your Workspace to access the Decode Dashboard
Step 2 - Click the ���Research Icon��� on the left navigation panel

Step 3 - On the Research page, from the left panel, expand the "Qualitative Study Templates" option by clicking on it and selecting the "Live meeting" option from the list.

Step 4 - After selecting the Live Meeting option, you will have a meeting-type selection page on your screen, where you will choose the "Dyad Meeting" template to conduct a dyad research.
Step 5 - Once you have selected the meeting template, a new page will open for adding the meeting details. Here, you need to add the following information:

Meeting title
Date
Start and End time of the meeting
The primary Language in which the meeting would be conducted
Moderator - A moderator in Decode meetings has the same privileges as the organizer (the user who creates a meeting). Only decode users can be moderators. The organizer and the moderators can:
Turn on video and audio during the session
Share their screen
Mute other users
You can select up to 3 Moderators in all the meeting types
Required Attendees - You can invite 2 users to part of the workspace by selecting them from the dropdown. You can add non-Decode users to the attendee list by typing in their email addresses
Observers - You can invite 5 users to be silent participants by adding them to the observer list. You can select the users from the dropdown. Observers can only spectate the meeting but can neither turn on their audio or video nor send messages on the chat
Description - You can provide details of the meeting in this section; it will be visible to all the meeting participants
Properties -
Hide Organizer: You can hide the organizer(the user who creates the meeting) in the call using this option
Language interpretation: By enabling this option, you can add an interpreter/translator during meetings to facilitate communication across different languages

Step 7 - Once you fill in the required details, click on the "Save" and then the "Request Approval"/ "Publish" button to launch the study.

Step 8 - Once the study is published, the user will be invited to attend the meeting.
Step 9 - After publishing the study, you are automatically redirected to the share tab, where you will find the Meeting URLs for sharing the meetings.
