Talk ratio, pauses, and communication style scored
Conversation Dynamics gives researchers a view of how an interview actually progressed between participant and researcher, covering participant and researcher talk ratios, average response time, reflection time, the longest pause in the conversation, and any detected interruptions. Together, these metrics show the flow, participation balance, and overall dynamic of the interview at a glance.
Communication Style then looks at how a participant tends to communicate, evaluating them across five styles — Analytical, Reflective, Emotional, Assertive, and Reserved — and identifying their primary and secondary style, giving researchers a quick read on how that person typically expresses their views. All of these behavioural, conversational, and communication insights are backed by AI confidence scores and supporting evidence from the interview itself, based on signals such as language, speech patterns, pauses, pacing, emotional cues, and conversation flow, making clear that these are AI-generated interpretations rather than absolute facts.
