Instant Meetings

Researchers can now set up a qualitative study as an Instant Meeting, letting participants join without needing to book a specific time slot in advance. Once this is turned on, Decode generates a dedicated session link for the study for each day, and participants can use that link to join at any point during the available period, with the moderator joining and admitting them whenever they're ready.

Instant Meetings still count toward the study's session target, use the same study settings already configured — including recording, facial coding, and face blur — and are marked as Instant in reporting, so they're easy to distinguish from scheduled sessions. They also don't require calendar invites or reminders, giving moderators more flexibility to run sessions as participants become available rather than working around a fixed schedule.
