Participants can now upload an image instead of text
An Image Response block is now available when building a project. When added, this block lets a participant upload an image as their response instead of typing out an answer, giving them another way to share feedback beyond text. This is useful in cases where a photo shows something more clearly than a written answer could — for example, a participant photographing a product issue or capturing a confusing screen they came across. Enabling this kind of visual feedback gives researchers a richer, clearer picture of what participants experienced during UX evaluations.
Separately, the prototype import process has been updated to fix compatibility issues that were previously occurring when certain prototype files were imported into a project. Teams working with design prototypes should now see fewer errors and need fewer manual fixes after import, making the overall setup process smoother. This makes it quicker for UX and product research teams to get a prototype-based project set up and running, without spending extra time troubleshooting the import itself.
