Once a usability or prototype test is conducted, an SEQ can be used right after to ask for feedback regarding the test.

Depending on the how complex a task is, it is also a good idea to follow it up with qualitative questions to get deeper insights and understand why they picked a certain difficulty level. This helps researchers find areas of improvement which creates the required impact on users.

Why Use a Single Ease Question test?

Instant Feedback: Since the SEQ test is taken at the end of a specific task, users can instantly and accurately respond to their experience.

One question test: This can just be taken as part of a task since it just includes one question. Users would prefer the low time and effort aspect after already completing a task.
